Ken Lawson

Ken Lawson
CEO of DDC

Domains, e-commerce, web development -- monetizing the internet is what Ken does best. He began acquiring domain names in 1996 and what began as speculation proved to be the foundation for several, highly successful Internet companies. He's founded a search engine (acquired by Value Click), an online credit card processor (acquired in a private transaction), a web consulting company, a leading provider of online insurance quotes (InsuranceQuotes.com), and a domain parking company.


Sean Moriarty

Sean Moriarty

With over 15 years of internet experience and a background that includes publisher monetization, advertiser solutions and user experience management, Sean is well positioned to lead DDC. Prior to joining the company, Sean managed Yahoo's domain channel, where he led the domain focused business development team and helped create and execute Yahoo's product development and marketing strategy in this area. Before Yahoo!, Sean worked in consulting and sales leadership positions in private equity backed emerging growth companies: Vividence (acquired by Keynote Systems) and PlaceWare (acquired by Microsoft).


Mike Van Loon

Mike has over 11 years of experience in risk and portfolio management and investment banking; most recently with Passport Capital where he focused on a $250m investment allocation to healthcare companies. Previously, Mike was the Founder, Chief Financial Officer and Portfolio Manager responsible for equity research and portfolio allocation for Quantitative BioEquities (BVI) Fund, Ltd., and Hovan Capital, LLC. Prior to 2004, Mike worked in the Investment Banking Group at Banc of America Securities, LLC and Fox-Pitt, Kelton, Inc.


Hui Tam

Hui Tam
Vice President of Partner Management

Hui has over 10 years of internet experience, and started her internet career in 1999 at GoTo.com/Overture Services, Inc., which was later acquired by Yahoo!. She helped pioneer the domain and error space from the publisher side, and worked directly with many key domain owners, parking companies and ISPs. She served as Director of North America Business Development and Partnerships Group at Yahoo where she led the Domain and Error Channel’s account management team. Prior to joining DDC, she was the Senior Director of Partner Relations at Adknowledge, one of the largest privately-owned ad networks in the United States. Hui earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Southern California and was preparing for a career in Physical Therapy before the dot-com boom.


Chris Rogers

Vice President of Search Solutions

With over 10 years of internet experience, Chris comes to DDC after 5 years at Yahoo!. As Director of Business Development in the Search Marketing group, Chris managed the local, news, social network, media and travel verticals. It was there he managed all off-network distribution for Yahoo! in sponsored search, contextual advertising and search tools for publishers. Prior to that, Chris spent 4 years at IAC as Sr. Director of Business Development at Citysearch where he managed their international network of City Guide affiliates and managed a team that distributed content and monetization platforms from the U.S to a global audience. Chris has also worked as an internet strategy and process consultant with Scient and Andersen Consulting.


David Young

David Young
CTO of DDC

David started his career in software development in UCSD by modernizing their systems to bring services from the mainframe onto the Internet. Then he worked with Autofusion, Inc to lead a small team to design and develop world-class software for car dealers that competed directly with Microsoft and other large companies. Never limited to companies in a specific field, David joined DDC over 10 years ago and has work his way up to become the CTO. Now he oversees our cloud infrastructure and security, software design and development, and partner integration.
